This will be a critic for the ai technology and not for the video.(The video vas understandable) To start of: before i can even think of an use of this i wanna know how it deals whit topology (this is in my eyes the most important, if topology is bad the the other ones will 100% be bad), normal maps, textures, riging(how many bones it gives, how it places them, and last but not least weight painting). If it gives anything close to unfinished sculpt whit bones, random weights, and randomly cut maps, then it will be hard as f to edit it and clean it up afterwards. (Also just for demonstration thet bear is not really well riged, one look at its arms on 8:24 and any given people who has played any videogames or seen any 3d animated movie can tell thet something is really off, this is probably topology failure and because of thet it can not be well weight painted and animated) If i woud have to use it right now i woud maximum only use the animation feature (it woud probably need some clean up), but whit a self-made and rigged 3d model, or just a realy based out starting point for modelling. And just to be clear i am not saying thet its bad, i am saying thet it has a looooooooong way before it it usable any area of 3d modelling. But its an acceptable start for ai in 3d modelling, i believe it will never replace 3d artists because it can only combinate and can not create anything new, it will always need more training data or it will put out the same results after some time, but it will make the process of 3d modelling a lot easier. Can this be Exported to other Apps and edited?

I'm so disappointed with what i'm seeing in these programs. Ltx studio, art flow, katalyst. Mootion. It's all just image generation in a storyboard format that can be converted into short little videos that have just slight motion and require narration. But what kind of character control am I seeing? -nothing! As an instructional designer I need to be able to create Training videos where I can control the character's actions, emotions, lipsyncing, and camera movement -just to name a few. They are definitely not hitting the mark. All this hype is for nothing. I'm so. Disappointed.

For some reason, when i run it using "python@3.11 main.py" I get the error ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'torch' . But works fine when I use "python3 main.py". I wanna use the later version of python and I have pytorch installed. How can I fix this ?

I had to run 'python3.11 -m ensurepip --upgrade' to install pip for the 3.11. The command you gave installed pip and pytorch for 3.9

i really think that so many people are delusional if they think that they can build a career out of ai animation, or animation overall. If it's gonna be available for everyone, it means that everyone can do it, which means there would be overload of animation on the internet to the point that nobody would be interested in watching your content if they can make it on their own i think it's gonna deminish views drasticly. also if there's gonna be a point in the timeline (i think soon) where animation would be made without human imput, kinda like a factory of animaiton popping up every few seconds. it's gonna be wild. i guess people will stop admireing other's work. I think most people's AI animations would be watch by themselfs only. Also im worryint that unlimited animation content or not even animation but overall AI movies might be another tiktok moment and people might get addicted to constant new things, until we become wall-e human babies, cuz also robots are soon taking over the physical works: like cooking, cleaning is already there, building houses, amazon bots, so much more. I also see that some of the people say that future might give us opportunity to work for free just because many people like challenges and not everyone is stuck in a chair type of person, i think it also won't work since if robot work gets more afficient by the time goes on in every department, slow, weak low attention spam typical human of the future would be to slow to adjust themself for the robot work. it's gonna be a future where maybe they'll stop selling or giving away art accessories, papers etc. because it would be just minority using these where majority would watch movies, live in the simulation forever until they die.

What does the topology actually look like though? Every one of these I've tried creates trash geometry that would take an artist almost as much time to clean up as to make from scratch. Plus I would prefer to be able to give it actual images to generate from rather than text.

The problem I see and this is from someone that used to work in the film industry, doing CGI for movies, is that these models look like blobs of clay. They are not realistic enough to be in movies. Now in a few years the quality will be better and then it will be scary. The other issue is that this hopefully will not take the place of a real artist and will only be used as a tool. A real artist will be necessary to revise the model and make changes to it to make it better and make it ready for use in true movie CGI. Cause these models are no where near ready for that level. The textures are not correct either and would need to be fixed as well by an artist so again I would hope a studio would not put an artist out of business with this under developed tool thinking it’s better than an artist cause it’s just not ready yet.

I think its great for people making their own video games, side projects, etc. But I'm not sure I see this as anything other than possibly a tool? For blocking out? I guess? For my job I need to make specific aircraft parts that have no descriptor, I have no idea what the name of it is, nowhere to look that information up, and I only get references provided to me as I cant go up to the plane and take it a part obviously. So this isn't useful to me personally in my job but I can see how maybe its useful to someone who does renders? doesnt care about topology, doesn't need something super specific down the size, etc.
